Fall Lists N Things

Fall Season

With every season, there are certain items that come out of hibernation and occasionally need to be replenished. Typically for most its the coat, others a scarf or even a pair of boots, as a yearly investment. For me, I always feel like classic pieces should already be apart of your wardrobe so, why waste buying something new for an inevitable season…fall / winter / in between. Esp if you live in a city that gets a real winter.

Fall is one of my favorite seasons, simply because there are so many symbolic things to me that are just plain fun and visually entertaining. Like leaves. A big pile of … leaves. Also cider, just always seems to pop up.

But for me, its more items that bring the mood of cool air and the only time something from nature, looks good dying. I mean  you gotta love the color of fall leaves right? So I’m sharing my list of fall items or things that get me excited for the season.

  • My favorite wool RL Green/Plaid scarf
  • Turning my  year before gloves, that my nails broke into fingerless gloves.
  • Cosby Show Reruns (esp 1987 – 1991)
  • Banana Republic fragrance line (I usually change up my fragrance by the season so the bottle is still sorta full)
  • Sweet November (Movie).. duh
  • Anything with pine or cedar wood chopped and ready for the fire place (brings a really nice smell)
  • Brown Sugar (Movie)
  • Canterbury Tales (Book)
  • A stock of cold pressed, Ginger Neem soap
  • Salvation Army Clothes & Pantry gathering
  • My favorite brown leather rider jacket
  • Start Handmade  ornaments and gifts for the holidays
  • Try a new American inspired restaurant for the season
  • A nice hike or walk on a trail (the animals in my area really come out during the fall & the trees are pretty cool looking)
  • Welcoming a new year and thinking back on the accomplishments and repairs I need to work on for the next year.
