So far the new Duckie Brown collection shows signs of 1992 pop cultured style a la Vanilla Ice and the conceptual style most notably seen in Demolition Man. Its safe to say, the fashion forward has now comfortably hit the early 1990’s. The color palette is a lot of Brave New World, pales with light mint, greys, tan and peach colors. To match the 90’s inspired apparel, baggie shorts and blond tiped fades where styled with each look. Despite all of that, I can easily see a lot of these things mainstreamed with more subtle pieces within the next year and the complete collection hitting mainstream within 2 years. If not even copied with 90’s era prints and popups. Then again we are talking about menswear and it did take a while for the skinny jeans to really break-though.
